Following the same mold as the Alma OMG, the Alma OMS is built on a lightweight, Orbea Carbon Silver monocoque frame for greater vibration dampening qualities, while maintaining relative rigidity for optimum power transfer and handling. The Alma OMS does not stray far from the Alma OMG, with the same distinctive polygonal down tube, 4x4 rear triangle and Direct Cable Routing system – all integral design elements that support the overall winning qualities of the bike. ALMA S 10
The ability and intention to offer the best possible performance and Orbea’s quality standards for every racer, is exemplified through the Alma S 10. Working with the exact mold of the World Cup-level Alma OMG, Orbea Carbon Silver is used in the fabrication to produce a high-end race bike with relative stiffness and slightly greater vibration dampening qualities through the carbon lay-up, in a competitive frame weight equal to the original Alma. Passive suspension and tight control are delivered through the newly redesigned 4x4 Triangle, which serves as a 4-point chassis to further increase the stiffness, durability and overall handling and efficiency of the bike. Direct Cable Routing protects the cabling to the gears and brakes and creates a cleaner profile for lower maintenance and reduced wear from the elements. The Rock Shox SID Race fork, Shimano XT components and Shimano WH-MT65 wheels complete the ample race build of the well-equipped, race-ready Alma S 10.
